6 1/2" (165mm) Damascus Steel Gyuto

This hand forged gyuto is made from 720 layers of laminated steel, left with the as-forged texture along the spine of the blade. The handle a particularly dense and nicely figured piece of English Ash.
 
The blade is:-
165mm long
42mm tall at the heel
3mm thick at the tang
 
The octagonal handle is 120mm long.
