4 1/4" (110mm) Pattern Welded Paring knife

This hand forged paring knife is made from 3 bars of twisted steel, forge welded together and forged to shape.  It has been left with the as-forged texture along the spine of the blade and heavily etched to reveal the texture pattern beneath. The handle is English Elm burl that has been glass bead blasted to bring out the wood grain.
 
 
The blade is:-
110mm long
35mm tall at the heel
2.2mm thick at the tang
 
The octagonal handle is 120mm long.
